Some restrictions are only effective on some operating systems, or some IE versions. Make sure it should work on your system. If it should but it does not, please contact us.

Deskman 8 is currently the version to download unless you want to use it on Windows 9x/ME/2000, in which case you need a Legacy version: Deskman Personal or Deskman Pro.
Question: What about Deskman SE?
Deskman SE is now Deskman.
Question: Which Deskman version should I use?
If your computer runs on Windows 2000/XP/Vista you should use Deskman 8, otherwise Deskman Pro 5 which is a legacy version.
Question: Deskman won't install in non-administrator accounts!
Correct. Deskman needs to be installed and configured from an administrator account. Furthermore, Vista users will be required to Elevate.
Question: Will you support Windows Vista?
Yes. Deskman 8 works on Windows Vista.
Question: Is Deskman compatible with Group Policy?
Deskman modifies policies system-wide (LOCAL branch on the registry). Thus, some group policies may be overridden by Deskman. Our advise is to use Deskman for security-related restrictions instead of Group Policy.
