Network Monitor
Obtain detailed information on network connections and network adapters. Keep track of active connections and open ports used by applications and services. Select a satellite or list of satellites and press the Network Monitor button (Ctrl - F5).
Use the report toolbar to review, print, export data.
Network Adapters
- Adapter: Name of the network adapter.
- MAC Address: Media Access Control address. Identifier physically stored inside the network adapter.
- Speed: Displays the maximum speed of the connection in megabits per second (Mbps).
- Download Total: Displays the amount of data received.
- Upload Total: Displays the amount of data sent.
- IP Address: Internet Protocol address currently assigned.
Network Connections
- Local Point: Local IP address or DNS name, and port number or port name, if known.
- Remote Point: Remote IP address or DNS name, and port number or port name, if known.
- Protocol: Used protocol: TCP, UPD.
- Status: Current status: "Connected" for established connections, and "Listening" for open ports waiting for connection.
- Creation Time: Connection creation time.
View Menu
- Show Application Description: Check to see the application description.
- Show Application Name: Check to see the full application file name.
- Resolve Address: Check to see the address name (DNS) instead of the IP address, when possible.
- Resolve Port: Check to see the port name instead of the port number, when known.
- Expand All: Check to expand all the closed items.
- Collapse All: Check to close all the expanded items.
Options Menu
- Kill Task: Ends a program, and its connections.
- Filter Task: Allows you to add a new software filter to stop the task from running in the future.
- Refreh: Connects with the target satellite and retrieves (refresh) all the network information.
- Auto-refresh: Check it to keep refreshing the network information at intervals of X seconds.
