Select the desired desktop restrictions by checking the appropriate boxes. Note that you may need to log off or reboot clients to activate changes.

• Disable Desktop: The desktop icons are hidden, and the context menu is disabled.
• Hide My Computer: Removes My Computer from the desktop and Start menu.
• Hide Recycle Bin: The Recycle Bin icon is hidden.

Notification Area

• Hide Clock: The clock that resides in the right side of the taskbar is hidden. Note: to disable the Adjust Date/Time window, check the following system restriction: Disable Control Panel.
• Hide All Icons: The rightmost zone of the taskbar, where the clock resides, among other icons, is locked. Thus, icons cannot be accessed.

Taskbar Restrictions

• Disable Taskbar: The Taskbar is hidden, including all its contents.
• Lock the Taskbar: Disables the "Lock the Taskbar" feature in the Taskbar properties menu so that users cannot make any changes to its position.

Taskbar Appearance

• Application Buttons: Program buttons that appear in the taskbar are hidden.
• Quick Launch Icons: Icons located next to the Start Menu button are hidden.
• Taskbar Toolbars: Removes all the toolbars from the taskbar.
