The toolbar contains fast-access buttons to perform multiple commands easily.

Tools, Actions, Commands, Tasks

• Viewing Buttons: Changes the view of the satellite list. Choices are: Thumbnail View, List View, Detailed View.
• Folder Activation Button: Enables folders, useful to manage satellites -computers- in different places, for example.
• Exit Folder (Up) Button: If folders are enabled, goes to the <root> group.
• Current Folder Selection Box: Shows the current folder.
• Ping: Retrieves the status of the satellite: connected or disconnected. If unknown, tries to negotiates a secure connection with the satellite. If in thumbnail view, refreshes the picture.
• Broadcast Ping: Tries to find satellites in the local network and establish a secure connection. Preferably, use the Wizard (F3) to locate new satellites.
• Message: Sends a text message to selected satellites.
• Snapshot: Takes a desktop snapshot.
• Remote Desktop: Controls a desktop remotely à la vnc.
• Reboot: Restarts the computer on selected satellites.
  • Log Off: Logs the current user off the system on selected hosts. Click the arrow next to the icon to select this option.
  • Shut Down: Shuts down the system and turns the power off (the hardware and the operating system must support the power off feature) on selected hosts. Click the arrow next to the icon to select this option.
  • Force Exit: Closes the system, even if documents are unsaved or there are running programs that refuse to quit.
• Lock Workstation: Causes the logging screen to appear without logging off any users on selected hosts. The system is locked until the user enters the password, if any.
• Screen Saver: Starts the default screen saver, if available.
• Disable Mouse & Keys: Causes input devices (mouse and keys) to be disabled. Not supported on Windows Vista.
  • Enable Mouse & Keys: To re-enable mouse and keys, select this option from the menu that appears when clicking the arrow next to the toolbar icon.
• Date and Time: Sets a specific date/time on selected satellites.
• Task Manager: Shows the Task Manager window.
• Run Remotely: Executes a command on selected hosts.
• Scheduler: Shows the Task Scheduler window.
• System Info: Shows the System Information window.
