Desktop Orbiter includes plenty of administration tools to simply daily tasks. Tools are available from the Tools menu, from the right-click menu, and from the taskbar menu. All of them are available in the toolbar:

Tools also include Actions, which are just additional administration features.

• Messages: Send messages to users.
• Snapshots: Take a picture of remote desktops.
• Remote Desktop: View and interact with remote desktops.
• Task Manager: Similar to Windows Task Manager but also remotely.
• Task Scheduler: Automate tasks.
• System Information: VIew, print, export detailed system information of remote computers.

• Ping / Broadcast Ping: Checks the status of a satellite.
• Screensaver: Starts the configured screen saver.
• Lock Workstation: Locks the computer, showing the logging screen.
• Disable Mouse & Keys: Disables or enables mouse and keys on Windows XP only.
• Log Off / Reboot / Shut Down: Closes the system remotely.
• Run Remotely: Executes a command remotely.
• Date and Time: Synchronizes date and time remotely.
