View active connections and network adapters on your local network.
Adapters
View networks available on your local computer.
- Description: Name of the network adapter
- MAC Address: Media Access Control address. Identifier physically stored inside the network adapter
- Speed: Displays the maximum speed of the connection in bits per second (bps)
- IP: Internet Protocol address currently assigned
- Download: Displays the amount of data received
- Upload: Displays the amount of data sent
Active Connections
Keep track of active connections and open ports used by applications and services.
- Local Point: Local IP address or DNS name, and port number or port name, if known
- Remote Point: Remote IP address or DNS name, and port number or port name, if known
- Protocol: Used protocol: TCP, UDP
- Status: Current status: "Connected" for established connections, and "Listening" for open ports waiting for connection
To the right side of the Active Connections section:
- View Path/Description Point: Toggle between showing full application path or application description
- View IP/Host: Toggle between showing IP and resolving host name
